Fabiola A. Lara
CEO and Founder

Fabiola A. Lara, M.S.Ed. (she/her) is a Mexican-American, multi-lingual (Spanish, English, and French) global early childhood development and education (ECDE) expert with decade-long experience spanning humanitarian and development contexts including fragile, conflict- and violence-affected (FCV) settings in Africa, Latin America and the Caribbean, and beyond.

She has collaborated with a wide range of INGOs, governments (ministries of education and health), networks, academia and research institutions, multi-lateral agencies, non- and for-profit firms. Fabiola’s expertise lies in gender equity and social justice, transformative male caregiving and engagement in the early years, child/family resilience and wellbeing, climate change, and safe, positive parenting.

In response to the need for stronger, more intentional cultural relevance and intersectionality to address critical issues in the global development space, Fabiola founded EquaNurture in 2024. EquaNurture is committed to maximizing impact through science-based solutions, rooted in equity and nurturing care to improve outcomes for children, families, and their environments.
